The Japan Society for International Development (JASID) celebrated the 20th anniversary of its foundation in 2010. Since the establishment, the number of members, both scholars and practitioners, has rapidly increased and is about to reach two thousand. JASID aspires for brilliant progress in poverty reduction in all developing countries, and would like to contribute to it with academic assistance.
