自由論題発表・ポスターセッション・企画セッションおよび本部企画課題論者を募集しますので、下記の要領に従って奮ってご応募くださいますようお願いします。

今大会の新たな試みとして、「ラウンドテーブル」セッション【仮】を設けます。これは、研究発表ではなく、研究のアイデアを「もむ場」として、一人10分発題で、会員同士が議論し、問題意識、アイデア等を出し合うことを目的とします。詳細は近日中に公開される大会ホームページに掲載するとともに学会メーリングリストにても周知します。これについても皆様の奮ってのご応募をお待ちしています。

２．自由論題発表／ポスターセッション／企画セッション／本部企画課題論者への申込み方法

[1] 申込み： ３月４日（日曜）締切（必着）

下記の4種類のセッションに応募を予定している会員のみなさんには、その要約（600字程度）、キーワード及び必要事項を様式に沿って3月4日（日）までに提出していただきます。応募様式は可及的速やかにアップロードしますので、準備をよろしくお願いします。

企画セッションの申し込み条件： 今回から企画セッションの申し込み時には、以下の３つの条件が必要です。 (i) 原則として、全員学会員であり、応募時点で発表者4名がそろっていること； (ii) 希望する討論者を学会員の中から2名明記すること； (iii) 所定の様式に従って、企画趣旨600字（英文300 words）および、各発表について申込時に夫々600字(英文300 words) 要約が提出されていること。なお、企画セッションについては、全体で6件程度を想定しており、午後の時間帯にまとめて同時並行で実施することも検討中です。

ポスターセッション： 今回より、「ベストポスター発表賞」（仮）を学会として出すことが常任理事会の決定で予定されています。奮ってご応募ください。

＊なお、参加申し込みに際しての注意事項として、「国際開発学会大会（全国大会・春季大会）の運営に関する内規」および「国際開発学会大会における、申請、報告、共同研究者（大会当日に報告を担当しない者）の資格に関するまとめ」を必ずご覧ください。（本学会ホーム―ページ掲載）
(※) 自由論題発表の1枠は全体で約27 分、うち発表時間は20分と想定してください。詳しくはプログラム確定後、 セッション座長の指示に従ってください。今回は、午後に2回のセッションを実施するため、１セッションの時間枠が従来の135分から120分に短縮される予定です。

[2] 発表原稿提出： ５月６日（日曜）締切（必着）

応募書類と要約を大会プログラム委員会が評価し採否を決定します。事務局から報告プログラム確定について通知があった場合、所定の形式で作成されたPDFの原稿を大会実行委員会事務局へE-mailで送付していただきます。(※)。その際、E-mail の件名を「国際開発学会第13回春季大会○○原稿」（○○には自由論題、ポスターセッション、企画セッションのいずれかを記載）としてください。

(※)原稿のファイル形式はPDFのみ可とします。図表や写真は文書に貼りこみ、完全な原稿の状態にしてください。

Call for paper, “The 13th Spring Conference for the Japan Society for the International Development at Yokohama National University”

We are pleased to announce details of the 13th JASID Spring Conference, to be held in Yokohama.

We are arranging special sessions with the cooperation of interested parties, and look forward to the participation of our members and the submission of papers.

Round Table The board of JASID is planning to start a new discussion session called a “Round table session” to encourage the members’ discussions of ideas in the initial stage of research. You may make presentations of ten minutes or less to other members, to stimulate discussion and solicit suggestions. Details of the session will be announced shortly.

General Information on Paper Submission:
Deadline for submission of applications and abstracts: Sunday 4th March 2012
It is requested that JASID members who intend to apply for the following sessions prepare abstracts in 600 character in Japanese (or 300 words in English) and key words. Applications forms will be uploaded as soon as possible.

Only JASID members can apply for the paper submission. If graduate students apply for paper submission, a recommendation letter by the academic advisor or equivalent must be accompanied.
We will not accept any application and abstract after the above dates.

Conditions for applying to the Special Session: The JASID has set new guidelines for applying to the special session. These include: (i) in principle, all of the presenters should be the member of JASID; (ii) two JASID member-commentators should be confirmed by the applicant; and (iii) the completed application form should be accompanied by a 600 character in Japanese (or 300 words in English) session outline and an abstract (also 600 characters in Japanese or 300 words in English) on behalf of each presentation.

Special awards for the poster session: The executive board decided that JASID would plan to inaugurate awards for the best presenter in the poster session. This is to encourage potential presenters to the session.

Notification of abstract acceptance: The Program Committee of the Conference will evaluate the submitted abstracts and select the accepted applications. We will inform all the applicants of the results via e-mail. In case we receive many applications to the specific session, some of the applicants will be reallocated to other session.

Deadline for Presentation Paper: Sunday 6th May 2012
The presentation paper must be submitted to the JASID via e-mail no later than Sunday 6th May 2012. We will not accept any paper after the above dates. It should only be accepted as PDF attachments to e-mails. The title of the e-mail should be [JASID 13th (Oral presentation/ Poster session/ Special session/ Round Table session) report].

The time allowed for each presentation will be 20 minutes plus seven minutes of questions and answers. Please note that this spring conference will have 120 minutes per session instead of 135 minutes. Before submitting applications, please carefully read the guidelines for paper submissions as posted on the website of the JASID.
